Al Khattab Al Maani
As Executive Director of Oman Logistics Center of Asyad, Al Khattab Al Maani leads the delivery unit of SOLS 2040 which is a blueprint designed to pioneer a uniquely integrated logistics business environment in Oman – benchmarked against the world’s top ten economies.
Al Khattab has a proven executive management track record over 14 years of experience driving strategies and planning over different leading organizations. Al Khattab holds a Bachelor of Science (Commerce and Economics) from Sultan Qaboos University.
Dr. Ali Al Shidhani
Ali is the Group VP of Technology at ASYAD Group. His mandate is to develop and steer technology and innovation strategy for ASYAD Group. In addition, Ali leads the execution of technology initiatives in SOLS 2040. Previously, he was the Director of Research Centers at the Research Council of Oman. He managed and led the development of research centers, such as Eijaad and Smart City platform. Ali started his career as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University where he was teaching, conducting research and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate projects. Ali received his B.Eng degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University in 2001, Masters of IT in Data Communications from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2003 and Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada in 2010
VP, Trade Facilitation
He has in-depth experience in trade facilitation having worked with international organizations such as World Bank, USAID, EU and GIZ in more than 20 countries. He is co-developer of the World Bank Logistics Performance Index and author of number of academic and professional publications. His core of interest is implementing international trade facilitation practices.
Ibrahim Al Bakri
Human Capital Program Director
Ibrahim has a proven contribution in national employment and skills development initiatives. He assumed the human capital role under Oman Logistics Center in January 2017. Prior to his current post, he served in various positions within the Human Resources Management and earlier was managing the learning and development function with main responsibilities to manage corporate training and development, develop competencies framework and construct a leadership development program in industries including aviation, constructions, FMCG and oil refineries.Ibrahim holds a Master degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong, Australia, 2013.
Dr. Sultan Al Hinai
Director - Logistics Technology and Innovation
Challenges-driven person with over 19 years of experience in the field of information technology, information security and project management. He has extensive experience in solving real life challenges making use of emerging technologies. He loves developing and improving business leveraging 4th IR across varies sectors whenever possible for the benefits of the country. He enjoys drafting national initiatives that synergies different line of business related to technology.
Almaha Nasser AlAadi
Experienced in the media field as a TV & Radio host and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She is a markets analyst in Oman Logistics center responsible for capturing trends in the markets as well as market intelligence. Moreover, Almaha is driving OLC marketing related to digital marketing, events management, and media coverage
Ali Al Makhmari
Omanisation and ICV Strategist
Holds Master degree in “MBA”, a bachelor’s degree in “Electrical engineering” . Worked in Projects Department, Stakeholder Management Department, and then at Oman Logistics Center as an Omanisation and ICV Strategist.

Hilal Al kharusi is Senior Strategist at Oman Logistics Center, the Government arm in implementation of national logistics strategy. He has a degree in Civil Engineering in Sultan Qaboos University. Hilal has been instrumental in implementation of key trade facilitation instruments in Oman. He is adept at dialogue with local business community, Government control agencies and international organizations such as WTO, WCO, IRU and IPCSA.

Shaima Al Azri

Shaima Al Azri is a logistics pioneer who has a great interest and knowledge in research and development. During her journey at Oman Logistics Center, Shaima led different programs in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, educational training and awareness programs.
Shaima is an active member of Oman Logistics Association (OLA) and Sultan Qaboos University Alumni Association. Al Azri has strong leadership, project planning and communication skills.
